Upgrade to Life Membership

The Edward A. Ragland Life Membership, named in honor of the Association's 26th National Alumni President, allows you to make a lifetime membership commitment to the Alumni Association. All payments for Life Membership are invested to ensure that the support you show as a Life Member today can be fulfilled in the coming years.

When choosing Life Membership, there are three payment options to choose from:

1. One-time payment:

$750.00

2. Installment plan 1:

Installments of (3) payments of $250

3. Installment plan 2:

Installments of (6) payments of $125

You may pay off the balance anytime if you choose one of the two installment plans shown above. However, the final balance must be paid off within the third year of the anniversary of the initial payment. The Life membership designation only becomes effective upon receipt of your final payment, and until such time, you will be considered a subscribing Life Member.   If interested in one of the installment plans, please send an e-mail to executivesecretary@vsuaaonline.com

Become A VSU Class Coordinator

The VSU Class Coordinator Program comprises a loyal group of alumni representing their individual class years. Class Coordinators are considered University ambassadors who help build a strong connection between classmates and the University.
Class Coordinators are some of the most valuable volunteers for the University. Job requirements are simple: a minimal time commitment and the interest to keep in touch with VSU classmates and friends. Being a class coordinator is a great way to remain involved after graduation, and you can be as active as your schedule allows.
Class Coordinators work with the VSU Alumni Office to:
  • Communicate regularly with classmates via letters, calls, emails, or social networking Websites.
  • Keep classmates up-to-date on VSU events and news.
  • Encourage and increase participation in alumni activities such as regional events and reunions.
  • Brainstorm additional ways to keep your class connected.
  • Serve as a reunion planning committee member in your special reunion years.
  • Promote class giving and participation 
  • Provide the University of Institutional Advancement with updated contact information for classmates
