Message From The President

Dear Alumni and Friends of VSU,

Carpenter RoundThank you for visiting the Virginia State University Alumni Association website!

It is my pleasure to share the incredible history and work of our Alumni Association through our website. This site is designed to provide alums and friends with valuable information about the events and activities of our Association and beloved Alma Mater, Virginia State University (VSU).

As you peruse our website, we hope you will see that we offer opportunities for alums to meet one another, network, share college memories, and promote VSU to a new generation.

While we know your visit to our website will be informative, engaging, and enjoyable, please keep in mind that we've only given you a glimpse of all that our Association has to offer. Therefore, after your online visit, I invite you to connect with a local chapter in your area and attend one of their many alumni-friendly activities and events held throughout the year to see firsthand the benefits of why you should join us in our efforts. If there is no chapter in your area, we encourage you to consider starting one. We can't wait to provide you with a warm Trojan welcome!

Again, welcome to our website, and thanks for visiting. Don't forget to bookmark this site as one of your favorites and return each week or month to see new updates and features. We look forward to this site serving our alumni's growing and changing needs.

In Trojan Spirit,

Laurie M. Carpenter, VSU Class of '12 & '87
