Alumni Awards

Each year, the Alumni Association offers a number of awards to individuals and chapters who have positively impacted the University, the Alumni Association, and the community at large. Nominations for candidates are solicited from members and active chapters within the Association. Annual Awards include the prestigious Alumnus of the Year Award, the Chapter of the Year Award, the Chapter President of the Year Award, and the Board Member of the Year Award. Recognition of awards takes place during the University’s Annual Alumni Weekend & Commencement celebration held in May of each year.

Join us as we partner with First Baptist City Point and other VSUAA members and friends as we host VSU Day in Hopewell on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Meet us for the 11 AM service along with the VSU Concert Choir for a dynamic morning of worship, fellowship, and spreading VSU love just like Trojans do.
