A heartfelt thank you to all Association members and chapters who dedicated their time to assist with VSU's Freshman Move-In on Friday, August 8th, and Saturday, August 9th. A special thank you goes to VSUAA Vice President Sharon Crenshaw for organizing the schedule and preparing the snack bags for the incoming freshmen who visited the Association's welcome table.

VSUAA-Chesterfield County Chapter

VSUAA Chesterfield County members were at it again! On Saturday, August 9th, they took advantage of another volunteer opportunity during VSU's freshmen move-in. The chapter adopted Seward Residence Hall. One hundred treat bags were prepared, and volunteers were eager and ready to greet students and their families as they moved into Seward and other surrounding dorms. We had a blast welcoming families inside and outside the residence halls! The excitement was in the air!

VSUAA-Prince George's County (MD) Chapter

Get ready to step in style and support a great cause with the VSUAA Prince George’s County (MD) Chapter on August 21, 2025, at 7 PM! All proceeds will go toward scholarships and student services for students at Virginia State University!

VSUAA- Baltimore Metro Chapter

Important information: Pick-up Location Change for the VSUAA Baltimore-Metro Chapter Road Trip to the Battle of the States football game on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Norfolk State University - William "Dick" Price Stadium.

The originally advertised site - Oxon Hill Park and Ride (6712 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745) - has been closed.

The new pick-up location is:

Branch Avenue Metro Station
4707 Old Soper Road
Suitland, MD 20746

This location is approximately 6.3 miles north of the original site and offers free 24-hour parking on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Please note that the 11:30 AM ET pick-up time for the DMV site remains unchanged.
