Virginia State University Alumni Association's National Conventions provide the opportunity for Virginia State alumni and friends to come together, in shared love for our beloved Alma Mater, to discuss the affairs of the Alumni Association, and ways to continue our support to the University. These conventions provide the perfect backdrop to reminisce with old acquaintances and to meet new Trojan friends. 


Previous Conventions

• The 1^st Alumni Convention was held in Atlanta, GA in 1992  
• The 2^nd Alumni Convention was held in Philadelphia, PA in 1993
• The 3^rd Alumni Convention was held in Washington, DC in 1995
• The 4^th Alumni Convention was held in Chicago, Illinois in 1996
• The 5^th Alumni Convention was held in Hampton, VA in 1998
• The 6^th Alumni Convention was held on the campus of VSU in 2000
• The 7^th Alumni Convention was held in Charlotte, NC in 2002
• The 8^th Alumni Convention was held in Norfolk, VA in 2004
• The 9^th Alumni Convention was held back on the campus of VSU in 2006
